Changes: - Add locate group to group file - Export PKG_CONFIG_PATH in /etc/profile - Add /etc/modprobe.d/usb-load-ehci-first to address #12009 (the latter needs a small change in mkinitcpio, so this file will also be added to the initramfs, this will fix the issue for people who use the usb and usbinput hooks, I'll do that tonight).

Changes: - Always add /etc/modprobe.d/usb-load-ehci-first to initramfs This fixes #12009 for people who use the usb or usbinput hooks. Please sign off (signoffs are also still needed on filesystem 2009.01).

Any qualms about killing [unstable] from our FTP completely? We still have the directories and the "empty" databases sitting around. I think we've given plenty of warning to people that unstable no longer exists. At the very least, I'd rather have empty directories than the leftover databases we have there now that are sometimes breaking pacman because of the lone ./ entry inside of them. -Dan

Due to changes in the integrity check script, and changes to the "make-sourceballs" cron job (forthcoming), I'm releasing now, please let me know if there are any issues - I will fix them quickly.

Hi all, The splitpkg work has now made it into pacman's master branch so it would be good to get some more testing on this. I have made a makepkg-git package that installs alongside the makepkg from pacman so people can safely take this for a spin. Read all about it and download from http://dev.archlinux.org/~allan/makepkg-git.html Just a reminder for those who want to test new features in pacman and makepkg, Dan has pacman-git build that can be tried out. Dan uses these builds all the time, so the are fairly stable...
