Requesting signoff for xfsprogs 3.0.0-1, both architectures. It's in testing for both architectures. Because xfs is not widely used, if I don't get a second signoff in a week, I'll move it to core (and xfsdump 3.0.0 to extra). - P

Hi, Updated packages for lvm2 and device-mapper are now in testing. The changes are: * lvm2 2.02.44-1 * Upstream update * Added bash depends * device-mapper 1.02.30-1 * Upstream update * Added readline depends * Added pkgconfig file Please signoff. Two signoff for i686 would be nice has I don't use lvm2 on my i686 system so I could only do some simple sanity tests. As very few devs uses this, signoffs from users would be appreciated. Eric

Hi, The upcoming imagemagick update will have a soname bump so a rebuild will be required. I will take care of the rebuild. It will be in testing sometime next week depending on how well it goes. IMO anything we include on the official ISO becomes official documentation by default. In that context, I believe we should retain a simple how-to-install-Arch-core doc, with clear direction for users regarding where to go next i.e. the wiki. In other words, +1 for Xavier's suggestion in the bug report - a bare-bones install guide consisting of revised sections 1-3 and a very brief Pacman overview. I have a problem with the Beginner's Guide as official documentation, as I don't believe it gives an accurate first impression of Arch. It is not compatible with Arch core principles, IMO, although I accept that it has established itself as a useful community-provided resource. I have already mentioned these reservations to Misfit, btw. I'll have a look over dolby's latest revision, and if I have additional suggestions, post them in the bug report. T.

A minor upstream update. It mainly introduces an improved Makefile that now allows to proper use make install step and a license change in the info file.
