[arch-dev-public] Retiring hal

As all major projects (KDE, XFCE and GNOME, Xorg) have been ported to udev/upower/udisks instead of hal, I would like to retire hal from our distribution. Right now we have several open bugs in hal. Some are packaging bugs, some are upstream bugs that will never get fixed. Upstream development for hal is completely dead and so should our hal package. I see no reason to keep hal in our distribution anymore, so I already went ahead a bit and built gnome-vfs without hal support. Other packages will follow soon and when all is done hal can be removed.

We had to add ugly compat packages because liblrdf and soprano can't be ported to the latest releases. Please test if anything went broken. The packages shouldn't stay long in testing. -Andy

Upstream bug fix release. Not much of interest: Major changes between sudo 1.8.1p1 and 1.8.1: * Fixed a problem on AIX where sudo was unable to set the final uid if the PAM module modified the effective uid. * A non-existent includedir is now treated the same as an empty directory and not reported as an error. * Removed extraneous parens in LDAP filter when sudoers_search_filter is enabled that can cause an LDAP search error. * Fixed a "make -j" problem for "make install". Please signoff for both architectures. This update cleans up the PKGBUILD in a way that uses all possibilities that are present in the Makefile: - PREFIX="$pkgdir/usr" is replaced by using DESTDIR - install-lib target is used instead of copying files around This release contains both shared and static libraries. As I don't have any overview of what still needs this static library (default is to ship only static), I decided to keep it in for a while. As we're using the install-lib target, a .pc file is also shipped now.
