[arch-dev-public] perf-trace missing due to a dependency on libaudit

Sadly, the `perf trace` command has a dependency on libaudit for a few convenience functions. I'm curious about what people feel the best approach would be here... adding back audit to [community] is ugly since it's not going to work, but building it and statically linking it in the linux-tools package is overly complex. The lesser evil seems to be adding only a libaudit package... but it's still not going to work if someone tries to use it for what it's intended to do. I'll probably go with this if there's no saner idea.

Ehlo, Last maintainer of virtualbox binary modules has resigned. These packages[1] are generated from virtualbox-guest-dkms and virtualbox-host-dkms each time a new linux or linux-lts package are released. Is there a volunteer to take care of them and handle rebuilds ? Although, I would prefer remove them and let users build vbox modules with the dkms package. That handle perfectly multiple kernel installation and simplify our job. The old root execution behavior can be restored through the Xorg.wrap config file (man xorg.wrap). * The default configuration files are now in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d, all host configurations are still taking place in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ directory. The new version comes with the following changes: * X is now rootless with the help of systemd-logind, this also means that it must be launched from the same virtual terminal as was used to log in. Please note that launching X through a login-manager (gdm, kdm, ...) doesn't yet provide rootless access. The old root execution behavior can be restored through the Xorg.wrap config file (man xorg.wrap). * Better glamor accelerated rendering, deprecating glamor-egl package. * A new package xorg-server-xwayland that allows running X applications inside a wayland session. * The xf86-video-intel package doesn't yet provide dri3 support because of multiple rendering bugs. -- Laurent Carlier http://www.archlinux.org
