Hi all, There's an open ticket to have the reflector package provide "pacman-mirrorlist" so that users can remove the latter: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/67653#comment193375 The problem is that the package does not include a mirrorlist and it will only create one if the user starts the provided service, which is entirely optional (I do not use it, for example). The dependency is thus not satisfied without user intervention. I'm inclined to leave it as is (no provides) rather than risk broken pacman dependencies because a user forgot to run the service, but I'm still weighing the pros and cons. Does anyone here have an opinion or a suggestion of how to handle this elegantly? Regards, Xyne

nvidia is currently partially incompatible with linux >= 5.9 [1][2]. While graphics should work fine, CUDA and OpenCL are broken. Users who've already upgraded and need those features are advised to switch to the linux-lts kernel for the time being. David, following the concerns raised on IRC [1], is this todo getting canceled? [1] no prior discussion, library with stable soname, prioritization and scalability of adding sodeps to more packages

Hi, Due to lack of free time, I've orphaned some packages I don't want to think about: bash bash-completion chrome-gnome-shell expat gdbm libcap libffi libunistring libusb networkmanager-fortisslvpn ncurses openfortivpn readline texinfo wpa_supplicant I've also disowned some packages I've been co-maintaining with other packagers but that's not so interesting. A big shout out to the Arch Conf Team! This weekend's conference was nothing short of awesome. It pulled together very well, particularly given the short organisation period and it being the first one run online. The recorded talks followed by live Q&A worked very well, and I enjoyed the live commentary by the community either on IRC or twitch. Looking forward to next year! :) Allan
