Speaking of the store, wasn't a previous attempt by shibumi to do this
get blocked on some sort of store sheananigans? I think it'd be useful

My attempts are more than 5 years old. AFAIK, the consensus was that "We", as Arch Linux, do not want to support a WSL image and do not support a "big and evil tech company" (not my words).

Another major concern was the trademark problem. Back then, people digged into the WSL terms of service for official images and there were 1-2 sentences in it that people didn't like.

Out of my head: The most concerning sentence was related to "advertisement". An official Arch Linux image allows Microsoft to use our trademark material (Logo, Slogan, etc) as they want to.
