Quick follow up on this thread to tell you that we are now fully done with the WSL image 🥳🎉
The image has now been added to the Microsoft WSL's official distribution manifest [1] and can therefore be installed with a single PowerShell command from a Windows system with WSL 2 installed: `wsl --install archlinux`
As a reminder, the image is maintained in the archlinux/archlinux-wsl GitLab repository [2], is now available on mirrors [3] and has a dedicated Arch Wiki page [4].

Excellent work! I've successfully installed this on a Windows machine without issue. Only one small nit: the Arch logo image that's used on install has a white background instead of a transparent one. Functionally I haven't had any issues yet :)
