I wonder why you enabled this. Isn't this only used for debugging? Wouldn't this introduce some sideeffects or performance loss?
It has has almost zero run-time overhead if not enabled using /proc/timer_stats. I utilized it on my custom kernel because of powertop. It's also enabled by default on major distros like Fedora. Jürgen
