dmesg | tail shows your error (if you see a Bus error you confused the CPU): bsdtar[6345] trap stack segment ip:7f346439d381 sp:7fff63f95740 error:0 I'd just retry, or confirm that the package went where you thought it should. Thomas, Jan- should we do some kernel updates on these boxes, and maybe even a hypervisor update if one is available to see if it fixes these errors? I'm guessing something isn't quite right with the Xen emulation stuffs. -Dan
