I wanted to try as well today, but I used my git tree to build, not the rc1 (there have been tons of changes since rc1 already). Result: {standard input}: Assembler messages: {standard input}:434: Error: symbol `vsysc2' is already defined make[1]: *** [arch/x86/kernel/vsyscall_64.o] Error 1 I have no idea what to do here, so I am waiting until it gets magically fixed by a git-pull.
