I've just updated the kernel and some mesa packages and the screen detection in KDE is now broken. On startup it detects that there's a VGA connected and sets my laptop screen to 1024x768 to match detected VGA output even though there's nothing connected. Yup, it's the kernel. Downgrade to 3.8.2 fixed the problem. I'll try to get some info and report it to the bugtracker. Lukas
