I find this a little confusing; do you mean to say that initscripts is not *installed* on the live system but available on it as a *package*?
If I understand correctly, install medium uses systemd to boot itself, but target system is installed with initscripts.
That's very well but entirely misses my point of asking to clarify whether initscripts is still available as a *package* on the live medium, or if it is "no longer available on the live system". -- Gaetan
