is needed because > consolekit 0.4.2 changed the default policy and expects that a third party to authorize the user. That works out of the box with graphically login managers as GDM/KDM/LXDM.
Note that ck-launch-session hack is still needed in ~/.xinitrc.
Tested with gnome and xfce and mounting/reboot/shutdown works.
