What about moving them to the dust bin? ;-) Seriously, it would be enough if only a mail were sent when something went wrong. Those "The following files are out of date" are of no use imho. (I doubt that anyone reads and checks them all)
Can you define "when something went wrong" more clearly? The whole intent of the emails is that we never know when something actually went wrong or not. How about I just stick it all in a logfile and gerolde and stop sending emails completely?
