[arch-dev-public] Announce list?

Hey guys, I was approached by someone who was interested in keeping an eye on important things, but had to unsubscribe from this list due to high volume - too much that doesn't matter to a standard user. He brought up the idea of making a separate announce list for users to subscribe to for important happenings. None of us would NEED to be subscribed, as we could just send mails to BOTH lists when something is important. The specific items in question are the status report, and other things. What do you guys think? Aaron
