Aren't all those projects except the last one old/outdated/no longer maintained? Should I drop the from the list and start encouraging the community to suggest new *active* community projects for the page via bug reports? Some that spring to mind are larch, arch-live, and yaourt.

Any reason not to do this?

I believe ArchPPC is still being maintained so it should be kept in the list. Otherwise, I think it's good idea to replace the unmaintained projects by newest ones. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
