------------------------------------------------------------ Attention netcfg users. We have revamped the network profiles handling. It is no longer included as part of the initscripts package. To install: pacman -S netcfg
Please be aware that the "NETWORK_PROFILES" rc.conf variable changes to "NETWORKS" as a part of this change. ------------------------------------------------------------
I haven't used netcfg in ages, but do or don't you need a daemon line for this? I don't remember one but it sounds like you do now.
Short but sweet messages are nice too, and maybe a little note that users not using NETWORK_PROFILES need not be concerned?
Erm, ok I get your point. Because I really want to get this out right now, I'm going to use: ------------------------------------------------------------ Attention netcfg users: netcfg is no longer included as part of the initscripts package. Be aware that rc.conf's NET_PROFILES has changed to NETWORKS, and that netcfg must be installed separately. For more info, see the netcfg man page. ------------------------------------------------------------
