Please signoff version 0.8.10-3.1 for x64_64. Changes: - use !makeflags to fix FS#8965 - fix maintainer tag in PKGBUILD
Following the recent trend of how we test libs we don't use.. it didn't blow up my box, and so a +1 for me. (I can test further if you tell me how) Seeing you fixed maintainer tag, maybe you'd also like to change the default packager in makepkg.conf..makes it easier for anyone to find the dev who built the package.
This is actually a good point. I speculated that readelf used libelf, but it looks like I was wrong.
Jan, do you know a concrete way to test this out? Otherwise, consider a big +1 from me.
Bug-buddy uses libelf for the crash handler, so unless you get crashes when having bug-buddy installed, libelf should be fine. As this is just a simple rebuild of the same package without makeflags, I don't think there's anything that can break here.
