Hi,
bison 2.4-1 is in testing for both arches. Please signoff.
Changes: minor upstream update, Added info file support.
Eric
please first make sure it doesn't cause this compile issue: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=58782
I have this build issue as well. I'll need to fix that before pushing bison to core. I did tried to build bmpx that has bison as makedepends before adding it to testing. It looks like it didn't triggered this problem. I'll guess I'll use gcc for future tests.
It's already a known issue upstream: http://www.mail-archive.com/bug-bison@gnu.org/msg01218.html
There are plans to release a 2.4.1 soon to fix this problem. I'll probably just wait for 2.4.1 then.
Update: In case you haven't noticed, the gcc in testing has been patched to build with bison 2.4. I've also fix libwebkit in svn to build with bison 2.4. Let me know if other packages fail to build with bison 2.4 as patching them is rather easy.
I've just updated the bison in testing to 2.4.1. It's a minor upstream update. The most important change is that the trailing semicolon problem that was causing build issues is now fixed. The patches that were added for gcc and libwebkit are no longer necessary but there's no hurry in removing them as the packages will still build with bison 2.4.1. Please signoff so we can finally move this to core. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
