Hi all, I was doing some testing to see it there was anything more that needed doing in order to move boost from testing. Here are the results from all packages in [extra] with runtime dep on boost: Already rebuilt: deluge gnash-common miro python-vpython smc Other packages: abiword-plugins - nothing linked to libboost_* (python library dep?) - no testing done bmpx - beep-media-player-2-bin binary linked to boost libraries (regex-mt, iostreams-mt) - /usr/lib/bmpx/plugins/vfs/container/libcontainer_pls.so linked to libboost_regex-mt.so - seems to run fine hugin - appears to have missing exiv2 dep - lots of binaries linked to libboost_thread-mt.so - very, very basic tests show no problems kdeedu - untested libavg - has a boost=1.34.1 dependency so will need rebuit mkvtoolnix - mkvmerge binary linked to libboost_regex-mt.so - very, very basic tests show no problems monotone - nothing linked to libboost_* (python library dep?) - very, very basic tests show no problems source-highlight - check-regexp and source-highlight linked to libboost_regex.so - source-highlight runs fine twinkle - twinkle linked to libboost_regex.so - starting and the clicking "cancel" works... (i.e. not very tested) wesnoth - untested So in summary libavg needs rebuilt and kdeedu and wesnoth needs tested. Then the move can go ahead. Kevin: have you had a look at libavg? Allan
