Hi,
uploaded gcc34 and new qemu to

you are invited to test the kvm stuff with kernel 22rc5 install kvm-modules and qemu package from this repository load the correct kvm module for your cpu, and add yourself to kvm group launch qemu-kvm then to test.
gcc34 is needed to get it compiled there is no other chance at the moment and until this is fixed i would suggest to add gcc34 to extra too along with gcc3 package.
Thanks much for this, tpowa. I will consider helping to maintaining this, as I am thinking about using kvm regularly; I know Jason was also interested.
I'm actually between kvm and Virtualbox, which seems to have very good performance AND a nice UI for managing the VMs.
I know fedora 7 has a UI for kvm/qemu. The source is... somewhere, I don't know where. I could look up the src.rpm for ya if you want. James -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/
