Hi Pierre and Thomas, there is a new exiv2 available, and kde is depending on it in several ways. Once 4.1.3 is out of testing I want exiv2 in there, so 4.2 can be build against it. This is just a mental note so that we don't forget about it. -T On Sun, 11 Jan 2009, Pierre Schmitz wrote:
Hi all,
even though the 4.1.4 packages are sitting in the staging dir for some days now, I decided to cancel that update. There is no much difference between 4.1.3 and 4.1.4, but there are new problems like this one: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=179921
In addition to this there are problems with kdebindings and it would have been replaced by 4.2.0 after two weeks anyway.
So, we will go straight to 4.2 then. I am just preparing the packages of the RC1 which will go to [extra] soon.
Note: The [kde-unstable] repo will disappear then. Just remove it from your pacman.conf and get the RC1 from testing.
