My tests conclude that the iwl3945 driver is not really stable, and you should use the ipw3945 driver if you have such a card (unless you love reboots and unstable connections). I can't test the iwl4965 driver, because I don't have the hardware, but these packages should help anyone who has such a new Intel card.
I've been toying around with ipwraw, which allows packet injection and such, it might be useful to include that too. -S
