Yo, I'm resigning as a package maintainer and developer of Arch Linux. It's been almost a decade since I met Jelle, Chris, Levente and Remi at 33C3 to be (peacefully) coerced into joining the security team, and almost 9 years since I became a package maintainer. It's time to let go. I've sent an internal email about misc responsebilities people are free to taken over, but for the benefit of the list I'll point out that mkinitcpio and arch-install-scripts is currently left without an active maintainer. Thanks to all the friends I made along the way. # Orphaned packages Below is a list of packages that have me as the sole maintainer. I think the following packages should be adopted by someone. Hi Morten, Thanks a lot for all the dedicated work you've done through the years for Arch Linux and for your support / help regarding some of the stuff I picked up along the way! I sincerely appreciated it and I wish all the best for your future endeavors (and everything else as well).

It's difficult for me to commit right now, but I'll try to check if I can provide some help regarding those.

Hi Morten, Thank you for all of your work over the last decade. I remember meeting you at 34C3 and being a more than a little bit starstruck. It was not my greatest moment. Your contributions to the project have made Arch a better distro, and your presence on Reddit made the whole PM thing seem more accessible and inspired me to go for it myself. I wish you the best wherever that may be.

mkinitcpio isn't necessarily my cup of tea, but I'd be happy to take over arch-install-scripts, if needed.

I've taken the liberty of adopting some of the soon to be orphans that I found interesting, and one to be singly maintained. * git-lfs * govulncheck * gphoto2 * influxdb * influx-cli * micro * python-adblock * python-irc * python-ldap * python-pydbus * python-pydocstyle * python-pytoolconfig * python-reportlab * python-xlib * step-ca Bert.
