[arch-dev-public] [signoff] initscripts-2008.03-3
This build removes the double creation of /dev/pts and /dev/shm. i686 and x86_64 packages available. Rebooted without any error messages here. People with hwclock errors - please confirm they've gone. Signoffs are welcome ;) -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)

No signoff for x86_64 from me. The hwclock error is gone but the package was built on an i686 machine causing /sbin/minilogd to fail as reported in FS#9636. I can fix it if you want unless you want to wait to get a fix for Pierre. Eric -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.

Damn, I've screwed things again. :-( Sure, please fix it (-3.1?). -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)

We have a problem in creation the rtc0 device, on Pierres machine 252 is not working but 253 on my machine 253 is not working but 252, since those numbers are local numbers which are reserved for local use it's difficult to guess which number works on which system. me shrugs greetings tpowa -- Tobias Powalowski Archlinux Developer & Package Maintainer (tpowa) http://www.archlinux.org tpowa@archlinux.org

Please try the attached patch. I cannot push it to git and release an updated package now, because I'm at job and have some technical difficulties with this. If someone wants to release a new initscripts package - be sure to update the ChangeLog (it includes git commit messages since 2007.11-2 was released). Otherwise I'll take care of this when get back to my archbox (in more than 10 hours). -- Roman Kyrylych (Роман Кирилич)
