Anyone for i686? All you need to do is: pacman -Rd perl pacman -S perl (the testing package) Then just run some perl script to sanity check perl is still working. If you get errors, let me know. - P

NB: new version in testing is 5.10.1-5 (I've solved the issue of missing pod files: FS#16488). New signoffs are thus required. Cheers, F

Could someone with appropriate permission please move perl 5.10.1-5 from testing to core? I only have rights for stuff in extra. F

From the commits ML, it looks like you had or were given permissions to do this after all. However, you forgot to move the x86_64 package. I moved it for you.

I now understand what happened. You ran the db-script and it did the change to the svn without moving the package and updating the db. I've fixed it. Maybe these scripts should check if the user has the right permissions before doing anything.

Yes, that's what happened, I should have made it clearer. Thanks Eric for fixing it. Aaron, could I be granted the right to move pkgs to core in the future? Essentially this would only concern perl. Thanks, F

I guess it is safe to assume you won't break our core package set, I added you to the appropriate groups. Btw, Aaron, do we still need the arch64 group? It should be obsolete now.
