I get them as well and saw this, it looks like it just times out and thus returns a 500 error due to PHP/database/wiki/etc. slowness somewhere along the path. It isn't too surprising with an article as long and as many revisions as that one. Try to browse to an older (6+ mo or so) version of the Beginner's Guide and you'll get an Error 500.  It has been doing this for a few days now.
