[arch-dev-public] X.org upgrades
Hey All, just in case you're wondering why I'm rolling out all the upgrades to testing with just mesa 7.0.3rc3, well these I have been running for a while and am just committing my changes. The 7.0.3 Mesa releases will arrive sometime this week. I don't think I'll make it today since I still have to commit i686. (man, devtools/svn is quite a slowdown ^^) Cheers, Alex

Don't worry, not for too long. I did a 1-to-1 conversion of the db-scripts. Rewrite is almost complete which will make everything way more snappy AND do some long needed cleanup for us.

Hmm, I was updating my local db a while ago and it works. Anyway, I'll recheck. Cheers, Alex

(i686 doesn't have final 7.0.3 in the repos) I haven't built i686 yet cos I didn't have any time. My company is
No idea but it's fixed now. I saw that a merge happened to break the commit. It probably went out of my visual scope after all the archrelease output. Sorry for that. pushing to release 2 products by the 1st of May so my time is kind of limited I'm afraid. Can somebody make the builds as I can't test them right now? Cheers, Alex

Could you split out the intel-dri drivers from xf86-video-intel and xf86-video-i810 just like I did with unichrome-dri? This prevents you from building the same drivers twice and makes xf86-video-intel and xf86-video-i810 (which are both in the xorg-video-drivers group) parallel installable without file conflicts.

I've just updated xorg-server to 1.4.0.90-12 in SVN trunk. I was about to build for i686 also and move this thing to testing, but I found out we have other things in testing also that are needed for this. I'll update some more xorg packages and re-release xorg-server for testing for both architectures, as I'm afraid of inconsistencies between server and library versions. Any mismatch of xproto version between mesa and xorg-server can be a breaker for example.

Xorg updates have moved from testing to extra. In the meanwhile, I updated the git snapshot for xorg-server, removed some patches from the PKGBUILD (upstream included in the git snapshot) and updated some drivers. All of this is done on x86_64, i686 is still pending.
