Re: [arch-dev-public] Spring cleaning (take 2)
Following up on xyproto's [community] cleanup, here is a list of unrequired orphans in [extra] which could be removed (minus the aspell/hunspell dicts). Please adopt them if you want to keep them (some of them are clearly maintained, eg. vulkan stuff). If you ∈{TU's}\{devs} and want to maintain something, reply and I will move it to [community]. Will start dropping stuff in a week. alsaplayer artwiz-fonts bluefish bluez-firmware bootchart di enlightenment16 epplet-base fetchmail fonts-tlwg foobillard++ fvwm-crystal fyre geeqie glsof gnome-alsamixer icewm idnkit linux_logo lua-luajson sbsms scim-anthy scim-hangul scim-m17n scim-pinyin scim-tables scim-uim streamripper thinkfinger ttf-arphic-ukai ttf-arphic-uming ttf-baekmuk ttf-cheapskate ttf-freebanglafont ttf-hannom ttf-khmer ttf-mph-2b-damase ttf-sazanami ttf-tibetan-machine ttf-ubraille vulkan-extra-layers vulkan-trace wpa_actiond xbill xfig xmahjongg xsnow

I've just moved those to [community] for the greater good! Enjoy. -- Gaetan

All remaining ones dropped, except for icewm and fvwm (they seem fairly popular and have active upstreams)

I'll adopt bluez-firmware if no dev steps up (this one probably should stay in [extra]). J. Leclanche

It's deprecated for a long time and shouldn't be useful in any way: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/bluetooth/bluez.git/commit/?id=cdf746c4835ab3... and http://www.bluez.org/download/ at the bottom of the page. It should be dropped at least to AUR if not dropped at all. -Andy

Hi, These two fonts are still useful to me. Could anyone move them to [community]? Thanks! Chih-Hsuan Yen

This was replaced by systemd-analyze If the package is dropped we should probably drop/archive the matching wiki entry https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Bootchart

I think this can probably be dropped entirely; I don't know of anything that uses the library. Though if anyone still wants it I'm happy to take over maintenance.
