[arch-dev-public] New DB scripts are live
Both gerolde (archlinux.org) and sigurd (aur.archlinux.org) now have the new DB scripts Important changes include support for "any" architecture packages (yay) and split packages. Please report any issues in the bug tracker

You need to create directories (maybe do other stuff?) on sigurd for any support in community and in community-testing (when It'll be setup). Until that is done, 'any' packages in community will NOT work.

I noticed that when updating a package to the 'any' arch, the repos/extra-x86_64 and repos/extra-i686 directories remains in svn. Should or could the devtools scripts remove them automatically? Or is it something that we'll need to do manually?

It's probably better to do it manually. For one, the implementation would be a little complex, and for two, we want to keep them around until the any package is in the same repo (that is, if we have testing-any, then the extra-foo ones should stay until in extra). Somewhere there was a commitpkg2any script that did this, I think. Maybe it's in devtools-git
