[arch-dev-public] Removal of zope2 and zope from extra
Hi guys, I would like to remove zope and zope2 from extra, as they are not correctly packaged and i have the following points to dont use then anymore: - They have only 0.10 ~ 0.15 users - They are not correctly packaged - Zope3 is not heavily used (its libs are quite a lot used) - Plone does not work with this zope2 package (which renders it almost unusable) - With the new tecnologies like buildout there is no need for building a Zope package Note that i will keep zope.interface in extra, as it is a very used package and it is a dep for twisted. So i would like to remove then (zope2 and zope) asap and kill 2 bugs on my queue. Thoughts ?

With mailman having an update waiting that brings compatibility with python2.6, I can also look at removing python24 from the repos at the same time. Allan
