Needed to be done as super-user? I would assume that a good percentage of users would struggle first-time around. The "limitation" with pacman, is it a one time thing? will it manifest into further problems? has the problem been fixed? I don't mean to sound negative, it's good that the Dev's are been upfront and proactive but the community will have questions.

The users aren't children. iphitus@korolev:~$ rm /usr/lib/klibc/include/asm rm: cannot remove `/usr/lib/klibc/include/asm': Permission denied If a user can't figure out that needs root, then, well, bad luck. I don't know how they got so far using Arch in the first place. James

I refuse to believe that users can not figure that out for themselves....
