[arch-dev-public] FrOSCon Arch Linux DevRoom
Hi all, I've managed to get a room for Arch Linux on the Sunday of FrOSCon. FrOSCon is a conference ran for a weekend at 25th and 26th August in Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. It's a free event thanks to all the sponsors. We are free to plan our own program on Sunday, however it would be great if we could give some talks or a workshop. Since I'm not sure how much of the TU/Dev's can attend, community members are also welcome to mail me with an proposal for a talk! P.S. I'll hope to bring Arch stickers. -- Jelle van der Waa
I could do a talk I guess. Do you know till when we have to create our program to get it on the Froscon schedule? On Sun, Jun 10, 2018 at 4:25 PM, Jelle van der Waa <jelle@vdwaa.nl> wrote:

Yup, qouting the mail I received:
You are free to plan your own program, however if you offer talks or workshops we strongly encourage that you follow the schedule of the main program. This was a wish of our guests in the last years. The schedule is attached to this mail.
If you would like your program to appear in your online schedule, you need to enter the talks into our conference system Frab.
So far I have two other Developer/Tu's who might be able to give a talk and with you and myself included that will be 4 talks. 4 talks of 30 minutes + ~ 15 minute break.

If you want to give a talk, please contact me, I can now add them to Frab. Or write a proposal here! https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/User:Jelly/Froscon -- Jelle van der Waa

I've just signed up in the frab and added "Pro-audio on Arch Linux", which will most likely be quite similar to the workshop at LAC2018, with some additional proper "showcases", as I won't be as crazy tired. I've added a note for the admins, that it's part of the Sunday Arch room, but I'm unsure as to how the mapping is done in frab. @Jelle: In case there's a lookup token for the "event" or however it is called frab-internally, let me know.
