[arch-dev-public] New version of the pkgstats client
Hi all, I just released the initial version of a new pkgstats package. As it now requires different arguments (e.g. it does no longer submit the list when run with no arguments) it is technically a BC break; therefore version 3. For most users who simply install it to enable the weekly submission of packages no intervention is needed. The command now supports displaying statistics right from the terminal. E.g. pierre@skynet ~> pkgstats show go nodejs nodejs 65.26 go 61.34 For more information see the integrated help; I also wrote a quick post at https://pierre-schmitz.com/pkgstats-version-3-lookup-package-statistics-from... Greetings, Pierre

Should add your blog to the planet :) https://www.archlinux.org/devel/profile/ -> Website rss: -- Morten Linderud PGP: 9C02FF419FECBE16
Thanks for the hint. I thought I was on that list once; maybe I should post more than twice a decade though :-) On Sun, Oct 25, 2020 at 3:33 PM Morten Linderud via arch-dev-public <arch-dev-public@archlinux.org> wrote:

You where, but the planet was reimplemented into archweb to get rid of python2 services we don't strictly need. Also easier for people to manage their blog rss feeds instead of poking devops :) This probably works as a reminder for others to do the same! -- Morten Linderud PGP: 9C02FF419FECBE16
