[arch-dev-public] namcap release?
http://projects.archlinux.org/?p=namcap.git;a=summary There's a lot of important changes sitting in there. I just fixed the python 2.6 deprecation warnings, and added some FHS man page detection... not sure if it's needed though

I had sent Jason a python 2.6 patch but I guess he has been busy lately. Can you push this patch which fixes optdepends stuff (http://dev.archlinux.org/~allan/gitweb/gitweb.cgi?p=namcap.git;a=commitdiff;...) I have been using the git version for a while and think a new release would be good. Allan

I took the shorter(read: lazier) route and added you to the namcap-git group. 8)

Sorry about that. I really did mean to push those changes. Feel free to push them yourself now and if you want to make a release, I can help with that also. Or I could actually do it, and I promise that I'll do it sooner than later ;) Jason

If no-one else does it by the time I get back from traveling (end of next week), I push a release. Allan

I just pushed out namcap-2.2 to i686. Could someone build for x86_64 (though it is technically arch neutral... I am on my way out the door right now). Cheers, Aaron

I could build it for x86_64, but namcap-2.2.tar.gz doesn't exist on ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/other/namcap/namcap-2.2.tar.gz -- Arch Linux Developer (voidnull) AUR & Pacman Italian Translations Microdia Developer http://www.archlinux.it

Yeah it takes a bit to sync to the ftp mirrors, I always scp it from gerolde when doing dual builds for source on our ftp mirrors. It's quicker 8)
