That is actually a dangling symlink to the actual libtool file which was removed. Sending to pacman-dev so this can be fixed. Allan

Weird. I thought makepkg did a "find $startdir/pkg -name '*.la' -delete" Dan, is this some sort of weird bug, or am I totally mistaken?

Will there be a -2 with the symlink removed? Or is it assumed that's not worth fixing at the moment, i.e. we are waiting for a fixed makepkg. If it's up to me, I suggest we leave the symlink alone, if I am correct that it is harmless. Otherwise we'll fix this and then have to undo the fix once the fixed makepkg rolls out.
