[arch-dev-public] [signoff] iana-etc 2.30-2
It was on this rebuild list (http://www.archlinux.org/todo/69/), hadn't been updated in about a year. Now has a check() function in the PKGBUILD, as well as what you've all been waiting for- your Arch system will finally know about the Real Estate Transport Protocol! Port 32811/tcp in case you were curious. -Dan

While the current package did need an update, I suppose I should have looked at the open bugs first, namely https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/20436. This one stopped getting responses a while back, but is still probably something we should implement. Anyone feeling up for digging up another Unofficial Services file from another Linux/BSD distro?

Signoff i686. It's funny that upstream (make get) seems to have messed up non-ASCII characters in /etc/services even more than before (e.g. the contact for port 1171). Anyhow, it's only in commented parts of the file... -- Gaetan

Anyone else? If netstat output shows service identifiers, this package is working as expected.

Interesting- if you want to take a look at how "make get" works and see if there is something funny going on with encoding, feel free to fix this and bring a new package to [testing]. If not, oh well. :)

I'll sign off. I (we) would have seen a service interruption somewhere by now if you (upstream) had fubar'd something. dave
