Well, if you are talking about networkmanager-plasmoid-svn which is a very useful and cool application, I say yes. But last time I used it from svn, which was like two weeks ago, still it had the flaw that it didn't remember wireless keys and is a lot of problem to get wireless working.

Its in a very early develepoment stage and its still in kde playground for a reason; imho its not ready for production.

After 5 months I think this plasmoid can be finally moved in [extra] o [community]. I am using it and it never crash, supports wireless with WEP/WPA/WAP2/LEAP and VPN connection.
What's your point here? Can I move it?
Note: there is not a tarball ATM, so I will move an svn snapshot.

I did not check it for some time. We are talking about http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/base/plasma/applets/networkmanager/ right?
If you think it's worth it you can move it to extra.
But we should find a name which is more inline with upstream. What about kdeplasma-applets-networkmanager?
