Hi Devs,
The current squid package is orphan, has 3 bugs on our tracker and is out of date atm.
I have taken the liberty of finding fixes for the package and updating it, you can find the package and source on my userdir [1]
Bugs:
- - FS#26296 - [squid] after clean cache not create new cache, mistake in squid.conf.. [2]
In my opinion this should be a user setting, since the cache dir setting size and place may vary per user.
- - FS#25556 - [squid] enabling icap-client [3]
Enabled in the PKGBUILD.
- - FS#30991 - squid logs never get rotated [4]
Fixed the squid.cron script the tar.gz
Note that I don't insist anyone to fix it or that I want to maintain it. I just had some time to spare. If this isn't the method of informing devs about orphan (broken) packages, please tell me who I can inform the next time ;)

Shall we move squid and dansguardian to the AUR, then?
