[arch-dev-public] testing repo clear out
With no major rebuilds in the [testing] repo at the moment, it would be a good time to have a look at the packages there and see what we can move. Allan

Sure. A good portion of these are core packages waiting for signoffs. We should start by checking them and signing off.

I need some singoffs for the openssl stuff (openssl, run-parts, ca- certificates) I just commited a new ca-certificates-java package which should not fail on install anymore. The license package still needs to be fixed afaik (symlink upgrade problem) libfetch can be moved to core, right? konveration could be updated to latest version and moved to extra. Even if its called alpha its ready to use imho. No idea about *uclibc, vim and perl. kdevelop* does not compile and is just a alpha/beta anyway. -- Pierre Schmitz, http://users.archlinux.de/~pierre

kdevelop4 requires KDevelop Development Platform >= 1.0 (websvn.kde.org/trunk/KDE/kdevplatform) as mentioned on KDevelop 4/requirements page (http://www.kdevelop.org/mediawiki/index.php/KDevelop_4/requirements). -- Arch Linux Developer http://www.archlinux.org http://www.archlinux.it

libfetch will be a dependency of pacman 3.3, so I guess there are very few people using it right now. But at least it works fine here (i686) :) And it is the only package I install from testing.

All the openssl related things are working here, so here are my x86_64 signoffs.

The uclibc stuff will be needed some time in the future. We can leave it sitting in testing until I decide to do something with it.

I will try to get to these two things in the coming days- let's leave libfetch in [testing] until we get 3.3 in the official repos, then we will move it to [core] as right now it isn't needed by anything. -Dan

Maybe you should move it to core instead. We now have perl in both, core and extra. -- Pierre Schmitz, http://users.archlinux.de/~pierre

Hmmm... do you have permissions to move stuff to [core]. From memory that was not given out by default. I will signoff both arches and do the move. Allan
