[arch-dev-public] Updating webkitgtk2 to 2.2.5 (or later)
I would like to update our GTK2 build of libwebkit. Having a seriously outdated browser engine with who knows as many bugs and vulnerabilities isn't quite optimal. So far we've kept it at version 1.10.2 because that's the last version still supporting GStreamer 0.10. Having both GStreamer 0.10 and 1.0 in the same process is not possible. For the update to happen, packages using both webkitgtk2 and gstreamer0.10 would have to be patched OR removed. As far as I can tell this affects the following packages: banshee (Fedora has a patch) emesene miro I intend to go ahead this weekend.

New webkitgtk2 and patched banshee is now in [testing]. Sadly, both emesene [1] and miro [2] seem to be unmaintained and the bugs [3][4] don't show any progress, either. Ronald, I want to move the new version to [extra] and drop both miro and emesene. As maintainer of the latter two I wanted to give you another chance to object.
