I still have the problem I reported yesterday for 2.6.35.1-1 http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2010-August/017618.ht... sata_sil module gets loaded, but sd_mod is not. So my sata disks are not found and boot breaks. Dieter

I still have the problem I reported yesterday for 2.6.35.1-1 http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2010-August/017618.ht... sata_sil module gets loaded, but sd_mod is not. So my sata disks are not found and boot breaks.
This looks like an issue that occurs in sata_sil and prevents your drives from being detected. I don't think there's anything we can do without bisecting it. Did you look for alredy existing upstream bug reports?
