[arch-dev-public] bitlbee maintainer
Hi guys, $ sudo pacman -Sy >/dev/null $ pacman -Si bitlbee | grep Packager Packager : Andrea Scarpino <andrea@archlinux.org> but http://www.archlinux.org/packages/?q=bitlbee says this package is an orphan? what explains the difference between my -Si and the packages webinterface? Dieter

Packager != Maintainer all the time. The packager is set by makepkg when someone builds something. Andrea could have rebuilt bitlbee for a library change, or something of the sort

I see. I thought it might had something to do with the accidental orphanages we had a while ago. So, anyone who wants to maintain bitlbee? surely there must be a developer/packager using it, because it rocks :) Dieter
