Hi everyone, Following Morten Linderud (Foxboron) recent resignation from the Arch Linux project [1], the mkinitcpio tool (Arch Linux's default initramfs image creation utility) [2] was left without any active maintainer. As a long time contributor and past (co-)maintainer of the mkinitcpio project, nl6720 [3] (who is also a long time member of our staff as a ArchWiki maintainer / administrator) has offered to jump back in (which only received positive reactions from the rest of the staff). I am therefore happy to announce that nl6720 is now the new maintainer of the mkinitcpio project! Thank you for volunteering to take on this responsibility!
