[arch-dev-public] Emacs rebuild 22.1
I just built the new version of emacs with a revamped PKGBUILD and threw it up in the testing repo for anyone interested in trying it out. Please let me know (on the list) if you notice any problems with it before it gets moved out of testing and into extra. -Dan
Hey: Thanks for doing my job ;)) Package looks good and no lisp packages in [extra] depend on it. No need to put it in [testing]. You can move it to [extra]. Thanks... Jürgen On Tue, Jun 05, 2007 at 03:52:19PM -0400, Dan McGee wrote:

I was too scared to move it right away considering I don't even use it. I ran the standard checks (namcap, run emacs, etc.) but didn't do much beyond that. I'll move it to extra tonight unless an issue comes up. -Dan

I used emacs-cvs for years... Good to see a new stable release of this great piece of software after 6 years... I hope the next version is released before GNU Hurd ;)) Jürgen
