[arch-dev-public] Spring cleanup '21
It's been over a year since our last package cleanup and orphans keep piling up. Please head to https://archlinux.org/devel/reports/unneeded-orphans/ and adopt packages you'd like to keep in the repos. If you are not a dev and would like to adopt some orphan in [extra], reply here or ping me on IRC and I'll move it. I'll start dropping the remaining packages to AUR in about 10 days.

Unless there be dragons, I could happily pick up munin and procinfo-ng... Thanks, -Santiago

You upload them as TU, but as normal user. archlinux-contrib has a convenient repos2aur script for it. Greetings, Jelle van der Waa

Err, as TU you can upload any package to the AUR. But normal users can't, so when dropping the packages please move them to the AUR. Greetings, Jelle van der Waa

On IRC a user mentioned that he wanted to take over maintainership of an AUR package which was previously in community, but could not push changes (presumably due to the same issue). So even if you pushed old packages to AUR as TU, users are apparently unable to update them. Alad
