[arch-dev-public] Spring cleanup '22
Hello, Spring (in the northern hemisphere) is here and with it our yearly orphans cleanup. Please head to https://archlinux.org/devel/reports/unneeded-orphans/ and adopt packages that you'd like to keep in the repos. This is also a good oportunity to disown any packages you no longer want to maintain, so others can adopt them or they can be dropped if nobody is interested. If any non-dev TU wants to maintain some orphan in [extra], reply here and I'll move it to [community]. I will start dropping the leftovers to AUR in about 10 days.
I've disowned the following packages that I don't use anymore or have no more interest in: libisoburn libisofs libburn nx (libxcomp, nx-headers, nx-x11, nxagent, nxproxy) x2goclient x2goserver procmail xterm Feel free to adopt the packages. -Andy

I'd be interested in: * spice-protocol * libmusicbrainz5 * libdiscid * libdvdcss (Not sure if that one should go to community, though) * dht (same with this one)

Forgot to add screen to that list as well. Again, not sure if that one should stay in [extra], though...

Last chance to adopt stuff, I will start dropping them in two days.

Bit late getting around to this (whoops!), I require some of these packages. Any chance of moving the following to community: * libnet * libmms * docbook-xml * python-pyopenssl * ttf-dejavu Mercurial is required by devtools, so I think this needs to stay in extra. -- George Rawlinson

Moved
* libnet
This is needed by the openjdk's. Frederik, are you interested in adopting, or should we move it?
* python-pyopenssl
This might have been accidentally orphaned with the pkgbase rename. Felix?
* docbook-xml
I feel this is something to keep in extra, it is used (at build time) by lots of stuff, via docbook-xsl. Any takers?
