I'd also like to point out that this fix is in the upstream .5 patch: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-2.6.27.y.git;a=commit... This is good news for everyone who has crappy hardware and has been experiencing TCP trouble since the 2.6.27 update.

Works fine on both architectures. Intel 945GM and G33 work fine still.
