Re: [arch-dev-public] ISO 2008.03-3 release status update
Hey guys, following packages i would like to see in core: pending signoffs and move to base: initscripts (showstopper!)? Bump to 2008.03 with the last changes from git Aaron and Roman will add the final changes and then release a new version. Is there any progress on it? I would like to help here if someone has not the time to do it. nfs-utils (showstopper!)? This is important, it has a broken libevent support in core at the moment! e2fsprogs? waiting for signoff cryptsetup? waiting for signoff, Thomas is the only one using it! klibc-module-init-tools? signed off, waiting for new mkinitcpio? klibc-extras? signed off, waiting for new mkinitcpio? kbd/klibc-kbd/mkinitcpio? mkinitcpio needs a small fix in resume hook. kbd and klibc-kbd waiting for signoff and depend on new mkinitcpio. perl? Any progress? When do you want to move it to core? pending signoffs and move to support: fuse? waiting for signoff madwifi/madwifi-utils? switched back to trunk version, waiting for new responses, signoff delayed package moves due to rebuilds and issues: gcc build-toolchain libtool any other comments? greetings tpowa -- Tobias Powalowski Archlinux Developer & Package Maintainer (tpowa) http://www.archlinux.org tpowa@archlinux.org
pending signoffs and move to support: fuse? waiting for signoff
I thought there was already an i686 signoff, but if not, I'll sign this off. Jason

Jason yes for 686 there was an signiff, x86_64 was missing. update on list to signoff: udev -118-6 which fixes this issue: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/9857 greetings tpowa -- Tobias Powalowski Archlinux Developer & Package Maintainer (tpowa) http://www.archlinux.org tpowa@archlinux.org

I'm doing this now. The only pending change is related to interface bonding, but I'm fairly certain it's an edge case (I believe it requires 2 bind devices in order to hit it). So, the bonding thing will have to wait. I have sent the wording of the netcfg message to the list. Once I get that, I will rebuild and push to testing.
