[arch-dev-public] Move repo-maint emails to the arch-commits list?
I got an email today saying that the repo maintenance emails are kinda spammy on the arch-dev-public list. What do you guys think about moving it off to another list. Either the private list, or the commits list? Opinions?

I think moving them to the commit list would be better. +1 for commit list Daniel

What about moving them to the dust bin? ;-) Seriously, it would be enough if only a mail were sent when something went wrong. Those "The following files are out of date" are of no use imho. Can you define "when something went wrong" more clearly? The whole intent of the emails is that we never know when something actually went wrong or not. How about I just stick it all in a logfile and gerolde and stop sending emails completely?

+1. I made a filter to delete them too.

I do check them usually unless they are very long like when the heimdal rebuild was moved out of testing. Move them to the arch-commits ML. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
